What's Alodine?

Alodine (also known as chem film or chromate conversion coating) is a chemical surface treatment specifically designed for aluminum and its alloys. Rather than depositing a separate material layer like plating, Alodine triggers a chemical reaction that converts the aluminum surface into a thin, protective film.
