Stainless Steel
Longwang machines stainless steel into strong, corrosion-resistant precision parts using CNC, turning, sheet metal, finishing, assembly, and strict quality control.

Stainless steel is a strong and corrosion-resistant metal widely used in CNC machining for precision parts that require durability, stability, and long-term performance. It offers excellent resistance to rust, moisture, chemicals, and high-temperature environments, making it suitable for demanding industrial and functional applications.
CNC machining stainless steel allows manufacturers to produce accurate parts with tight tolerances, smooth surfaces, complex details, and reliable mechanical strength. Common grades such as 303, 304, 316, 316L, 420, 430, and 17-4PH can be selected based on machinability, corrosion resistance, hardness, and application requirements.
At Longwang, we provide custom stainless steel machining for prototypes, low-volume production, and batch manufacturing. With CNC machining, CNC turning, sheet metal fabrication, welding, surface finishing, assembly support, and strict quality inspection, we help customers produce reliable stainless steel parts for electronics, automotive, aerospace equipment, smart home products, industrial machinery, and custom non-standard components.
SUS201 is a cost-effective austenitic stainless steel with good formability, strength, and moderate corrosion resistance. It is often used as an economical alternative to 300-series stainless steel for non-critical applications. Longwang machines SUS201 for appliance parts, kitchen hardware, structural components, brackets, housings, and custom precision parts requiring balanced performance and cost control.
SUS303 is a free-machining austenitic stainless steel designed for improved machinability compared with SUS304. Its sulfur content helps produce cleaner chips and faster cutting performance, making it ideal for precision turned parts. Longwang uses SUS303 for shafts, screws, nuts, bolts, fittings, bushings, connectors, and complex CNC components requiring efficient machining and stable dimensional accuracy.
SUS304 is one of the most widely used stainless steels, offering excellent corrosion resistance, formability, weldability, and overall mechanical performance. It is suitable for many precision machining and sheet metal applications. Longwang machines SUS304 for electronic equipment parts, automotive components, brackets, enclosures, food equipment parts, smart home hardware, and custom industrial components.
SUS316 is an austenitic stainless steel with added molybdenum for improved corrosion resistance, especially in chloride or marine-related environments. It also offers good weldability and strength. Longwang machines SUS316 for marine fittings, chemical equipment parts, valve components, medical-related hardware, automotive parts, precision connectors, and custom parts used in demanding environments.
SUS316L is the low-carbon version of SUS316, offering better weldability and improved resistance to sensitization after welding. It is suitable for parts requiring corrosion resistance and clean weld performance. Longwang machines SUS316L for chemical processing parts, pharmaceutical equipment components, marine hardware, welded assemblies, precision fittings, and corrosion-resistant custom stainless steel parts.
SUS420 is a martensitic stainless steel known for high hardness, strength, and wear resistance after heat treatment. It provides moderate corrosion resistance and good mechanical performance for functional parts. Longwang machines SUS420 for shafts, tooling parts, cutting components, molds, wear-resistant hardware, surgical instrument parts, and precision mechanical components requiring higher hardness.
SUS430 is a ferritic stainless steel with good corrosion resistance, formability, and oxidation resistance. It is more cost-effective than many austenitic grades but has lower toughness and weldability. Longwang machines SUS430 for appliance components, decorative covers, automotive trim, kitchen hardware, brackets, panels, and custom parts requiring moderate corrosion resistance.
SUS431 is a high-chromium, nickel-bearing martensitic stainless steel with high strength, good toughness, and better corrosion resistance than many martensitic grades. It is commonly supplied hardened and tempered. Longwang machines SUS431 for shafts, valve stems, marine components, aerospace equipment parts, pump parts, fasteners, and high-strength precision components.
SUS440C is a high-carbon martensitic stainless steel known for very high hardness, strength, and wear resistance after heat treatment. It offers moderate corrosion resistance and excellent performance in friction-related applications. Longwang machines SUS440C for bearings, valve parts, cutting tools, molds, wear-resistant shafts, precision mechanical parts, and high-hardness custom components.
SUS630, also known as 17-4PH, is a precipitation-hardening stainless steel offering high strength, good corrosion resistance, and excellent mechanical stability after aging treatment. It is widely used for demanding precision parts. Longwang machines SUS630/17-4PH for aerospace equipment parts, automotive components, chemical equipment, shafts, gears, structural hardware, and high-strength custom stainless steel parts.
Stainless steel CNC machined parts already offer excellent strength, corrosion resistance, and a clean metallic appearance. However, the right surface finish can further improve appearance, corrosion resistance, wear performance, cleanliness, and product durability.

As Machined
Standard finish, surface roughness of 3.2 μm (126 μin), removes sharp edges and deburs parts cleanly.

Teflon Coating
Applies a protective layer of PTFE to reduce friction and enhance corrosion resistance.

Tumbling
Utilizes barrel or vibratory processes with abrasives to smooth and polish the surface of parts.

Heat Treatment
Alters the physical (and sometimes chemical) properties of a material to achieve desired mechanical properties.
Stainless steel CNC machining is widely used for strong, corrosion-resistant, and high-precision parts. It is suitable for demanding applications in automotive, electronics, medical, aerospace equipment, smart home, marine, and industrial machinery fields.
